How It Works

How It Works: A Quick Guide
Purpose:

IntelliGen Life Lessons are built for today’s learners—short, engaging, and designed to spark curiosity! Each lesson can be completed in as little as 15 minutes. Most lessons include:

  • 5-7 minutes of reading
  • 10 minutes of review and discussion
  • Optional activity for deeper learning

But that’s just the beginning. We encourage you to let the conversation flow! These topics are meant to spark curiosity, reflection, and real connection. If your student is engaged and asking questions, keep it going—some of the most powerful learning happens in those unplanned moments.

Many lessons include an optional activity that can extend learning for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or even longer. Whether your student dives into the activity or wants to keep talking, feel free to follow their lead. You are encouraged to explore as long as interest and enthusiasm remain high.

At IntelliGen, our goal is to make learning enjoyable—not a chore. These short, meaningful lessons are designed to build essential life skills, inspire thoughtful conversations, and nurture a lifelong love of learning.

4 Simple Steps to Lead a Life Lesson

1. Print the Lesson
Print a copy so it’s easy to follow. Make sure each participant has access and reads it completely.

2. Read & Quiz
Give your student a quiet space to read the lesson and take the quiz.
👉 Important: Don’t share the answer key yet!

3. Review & Reflect
Go over the quiz together. For any incorrect answers, discuss why the correct answer makes sense—using the lesson to guide your conversation.

4. Dive Deeper
Use the provided discussion question or optional activity to explore the topic further. This is a chance to connect, ask questions, and hear your student’s thoughts.
